Vanity is a word that I could not understand until I went to work for Mr. Green.
He was the owner of our local newspaper . Mr Green was a good and clever man but had a habit of talking to himself all the time. One day a friend of his came and asked him why him did this.
''Well, there are two good reasons'', he said. '' First, I'll like to hear a wise man speak. Secondly, I speak it is a pleasure to have an intelligent audience''
