Trong kinh doanh hoặc trong những thư tín, đoạn chat... chúng ta sẽ sử dụng những cụm từ viết tắt, hoặc chữ viết tắt thông dụng. Bạn nên biết chúng vì nếu không sẽ thấy bối rỗi, hoặc gây mất thời gian trong công việc. Sau đây chúng ta sẽ tìm hiểu về những cụm từ viết tắt và những chữ viết tắt nhé.

1. ASAP

ASAP = as soon as possible

Đây là cụm từ rất thông dụng, nó có nghĩa nhanh nhất có thể

Ví dụ: Bạn nhận được mail của sếp  “Send me the report ASAP” có nghĩa bạn phải hoàn thành công việc của ông ta giao thật nhanh.
2. FYI
FYI = for your information

Khi bạn chia sẻ thông tin và giữ mọi người trong vòng, nó là FYI

Ví dụ: Một người đồng nghiệp của bạn muốn chia sẻ cho bạn thông tin của nhóm “FYI, this is the update I got from the team.”
3. BTW
BTW = by the way

Đó là các an toàn cho kết thúc một cuộc tán gẫu với đồng nghiệp. Đôi khi còn có nghĩa '' back to work''

 Ví dụ. “I read that article BTW. Not so great”.
4. EOD
EOD = end of day 

Cụm từ này có nghĩa trước khi hết một ngày, trước khi đóng cửa, nó phụ thuộc vào điều kiện phía trước

Ví dụ: “John, I will send you the details by tomorrow EOD”.
5. ATTN
ATTN=attention (Used to indicate who a letter is for)
E.g. “Attn: John Smith"
6. N/A
N/A= not applicable 

Cụm từ sử dụng với những ứng viên khi một số thông tin của họ không được điền vì nó không có giá trị với họ

Ví dụ. “How old is your son?: N/A” (bởi vì người này vẫn độc thân).
7. COB
COB =Close of business 

Cụm từ thường dùng khi kết thúc một ngày làm việc, kết thúc một thời hạn công việc

Ví dụ: “This is just a reminder that the survey is still open and will remain open until COB today”
8. COD
COD = cash on delivery (tiền mặt khi giao hàng)

Cụm từ dùng để chỉ phương thức thanh toán hàng hóa

Ví dụ: “We don't have to pay the printer now. It's COD.”
9. TBD
TBD = to be decided

Bạn sẽ biết nó cuối cùng
Ví dụ. “No. of participants: TBD”
10. RSVP
RSVP= Répondez s'il vous plait 

Nó là một hàm ý trong tiếng Pháp, có nghĩa vui lòng cho biết phản ứng
