1. Solvent /ˈsɒl.vənt/(adj): có khả năng trả nợ
(Especially of companies) having enough money to pay all money that is owned to other
(Dùng đặc biệt cho công ty) có đủ tiền để trả tất cả các khoản tiền thuộc sơ hữu của người khác
His firm is solvent: công ty ông ta có khả năng trả nợ
2.Checking account: Tài khoản chi phiếu

Trong Anh-Mỹ thay bằng current account
a bank account that you can take money from at any time and that usually earns little or no interest
( Một tài khoản ngân hàng mà bạn có thể lấy tiền bất kì lúc nào thường thì không có lãi suất)
3. Demand deposit: Tiền gửi không kì hạn
Money in a bank account that you can ba take out immediately without having to tell the bank frist

4. Transaction: Giao dịch, nghiệp vụ
Động từ là transact /trænˈzækt/: to do and complete a business activity

Ví dụ: My company has a bad transaction with his company (Công ty tôi có một giao dịch tồi tệ với công ty hắn)

7. Service charge ( noun): Phí dịch vụ
an amount of money added to the basic price of something to pay for the cost of dealing with the customer

Ví dụ: If you order the tickets by phone you have to pay $2 service charge as well as $1350 for each ticket

What is an outstanding check?
An outstanding check is a check that has been written by a company but it has not yet cleared the bank account on which it is drawn.Hence, outstanding check will mean that the bank account will be greater than the balance in the general ledger account ( or an individual's check register).

DEFINITION of 'Stop Payment'
             A request made to a financial institution to cancel a check or payment that has not been processed yet. A stop payment order is issued by the account holder, and can only be enacted if the check or payment has not already been processed by the recipient.
BREAKING DOWN 'Stop Payment'
               Issuing a stop payment order often costs the bank account holder a fee, which is levied by the financial institution. There are several reasons that a stop payment order may be requested. For example, the account holder may have sent a check for the wrong amount, or may have canceled a purchase after having put the check in the mail.
